An enhanced version can operate as a two- channel system with a second remote base station. In this case, one channel is for communications between the order-taker and customer; the other channel is dedicated to in-store communications. Both systems feature microprocessor controls and a membrane keypad to ensure the highest reliability in a cabled intercom.
